Follow Friday - 28 October 2011

This is the first time in absolute ages that I have been able to share the book blog love and get to follow some exciting new blogs! Truthfully I am quite excited! There have been so many things that have happened in the last couple of months that I am still trying to take stock of everything and spending some real time on my blog (with it's pretty new revamp) which I have really not even put out there or showcased. As the year winds down I hope to still finish at least two of the challenges which I started and to begin reading at least 10 of the books that have been gathering dust on my To-Read pile for months. Reading and book buying still remain my biggest vices and I absolutely love it! Hope all of you are profusely planning your Christmas book list as I am! Happy weekend everyone! Follow Friday is a fun weekly meme hosted now by the fabulous Parajunkee over at Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.  This is a brilliant way to get to know your fellow bloggers and I love doing the Friday follow to see what new reads others have discovered which I am not yet aware of.  This week's question is quite interesting and it was a toss up for me between some of the awesome woman's characters for a great girls night or one of the gorgeous and dreamy heroes for a romantic dinner.  In the end I decided that there are just too many dreamy male characters for just one dinner with one of them, so I have chosen my favourite female characters for a fabulous girl's night! So here goes:

If you could have dinner with your favorite book character, who would you eat with and what would you serve?

As I have said, this was a difficult decision and I'm probably cheating a bit, but I would love to have dinner and cocktails with Merit (from Chicagoland Vampires), Cat (from Night Huntress) and Dorina (from Midnight's Daughter) whom are my favourite female book characters. Seeing as they all have a dry sarcastic manner I'm sure I'll have a great time cause I am for the most part not much different. As these ladies are all vampires (or half vampires) I guess we will mostly be drinking Bloody Mary's! Haha!
