Follow Friday - 04 February 2011

Oh my word! I though I would never get to Friday! This week has been hectically busy and I have had very little time to connect with all you kindred book readers... Sigh! I'm in a bit of a reading slump too at the moment, for no reason that I can fathom, but I'm struggling to read anything at the moment.  Using Sims 3 of PS3 to keep me busy.  Not good for the prospects of completing my challenges.  But anyway... I have never been more greatful that it's Friday and I'm hoping to connect with many of you for Follow Friday this week.

As you all know Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted over at Parajunkee's View and is a fun way to connect with fellow book readers and to get to know more about them.  The question for Follow Friday this week is:

What is the book you are currently 'pushing'? (Pushing mean trying to get people to read it)

Well I won't say that I have any particular book that I am promoting but I certainly had a lot to say about The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell which I finished recently.  My review is just as flowery as the story (couldn't help it) but it really was a very interesting and different read.  Well, I guess if I wasn't pusthing it before, I sure am pushing it now! Hehe!

Enjoy the weekend everyone! I look forward to seeing what all of you are pushing and if you have a moment to spare, why don't you tell me what gets you in to and (more importantly) out of reading slumps!

First, thank you for stopping by Book Lover's Hideaway (http://booklovershideaway.blogspot.com). We really appreciate our friends stopping by and commenting on our posts.

Next, wow, I have not heard about Vespertine but now I'm going to be doing some review reading. It's a beautiful cover though isn't it? Thanks for turning me on.

I hope you have a great weekend. See you on the net!

Hi Sonette, thanks for stopping by on Friday. I would definately recommend reading Nevermore ASAP, it's that good. I have to warn you that it ends with a major cliffhanger and the sequel does not come out until 2012 :-(.

Thanks for finding my blog, I'm following you too now. And re: The Hunger Games, it was hard to write such an honest review, but I thought it needed to be done. And I'm glad it inspired you to read the books!
